The Local Government Operations (LGO) Protocol Version 1.1 is available for use by local governments. Local government members were required to use this industry-specific protocol to report their 2009 emissions in 2010. In addition to reporting emissions to CARROT, local government members must complete the Local Government Operations Standard Inventory Report. This report provides a common reporting tool for all local governments and organizes emissions data in a policy-relevant manner. The LGO report should be uploaded to the Optional Reporting section of CARROT as a PDF for submission to your verifier and the California Registry.
