To help prepare first-time reporters and as a service to experienced reporters who need a refresher, the California Registry will conduct virtual trainings on CARROT, the California Registry’s online reporting tool. This 1.5 hour training session will cover all the CARROT functions necessary to calculate and submit an emissions inventory. NOTE: This training assumes an understanding of the California Registry’s program and reporting requirements. Participants should be familiar with the General Reporting Protocol and have participated in a New Member Orientation prior to the CARROT Training.

To request a CARROT Training please send an email to help@caclimateregistry.org.

You will need both a phone line and a high-speed internet connection to participate. Only one computer is given access to the training per registration. If multiple people from your organization will be participating, please register individually or plan to participate viewing one computer.

If you have never used GoToWebinar software you will need to download a plug-in before logging on. If you do not have administrative rights for your computer please contact your IT department for assistance in downloading the plug-in prior to the training session. Persons calling in using a Voice-Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phone should be advised that you may not connect to the call, experience a poor connection, or be dropped from the call. If possible please use a regular land-line or cell phone to participate in the call.
