STEPS TO REGISTER A PROJECT WITH THE CLIMATE ACTION RESERVE

1. Review the appropriate protocols and determine whether your proposed project would qualify for registration.

2. Open an account on the Reserve.

3. Fill out and submit the appropriate registration forms for your project, along with payment of the $500 registration fee. Forms may be submitted on-line.

4. Your form will either be approved, denied, or returned for revisions.

5. Begin project activities.

6. Select a verifier, who will submit the required conflict of interest form.

7. Carry out verification and fill out necessary project documents.

8. Submit project documents and verifier opinion on-line.

9. Project documents and the verifier opinion will either be approved or returned for revisions.

10. Once these documents are approved, your account will be credited with the appropriate number of CRTs.

11. Once the issuance fee of $.15/ton has been paid, your CRTs may be traded or retired.
